Lady Gaga shocked once again when she wore a Hannibal Lecter style headpiece to her rendezvous with the Rolling Stones for their 50th anniversary concert.
The pop star left her New York Carlyle hotel room in Manhattan wearing on her head a black metal cage lookalike adorned with metal chains and a golden cherub. Her outfit included black horse riding pants, a lace shirt, a black leather jacket and very high platform lace-up boots.
The 26-year-old joined the rock legends on stage during the final night of their 50th anniversary concert at the New Jersey Prudential Center on Saturday.
Lady G tweeted about the excitement surrounding her performance, saying “Can’t wait to sing with the Rolling Stones on Saturday Night. In 2007 I was stripping to them.” She was thrilled to be performing “Gimmie Shelter” alongside The Stones and admitted, in a Twitter post made after the show was over, that she felt like being back in 1973, which is one of her life dreams. “Someone heal me it happened + then I sang with the Stones,” she added.
For the actual performance, Gaga changed into a custom made metallic stripped stretch velvet catsuit, with winged shoulders and a plunging neck line. She wore a long blond wig and another pair of very high heels, this time ankle boots.
The pop star made a lot of heads turn with both her performance and her attention grabbing outfits, including America’s Next Top Model judge Tyra Banks’, who gave a major thumbs up to Gaga’s ability to rock the stage while wearing dangerously high heels.
