Best Buy, Macy’s and JCPenney are just a few of the chain store names that are open on Black Friday and Thanksgiving hoping for huge sales, with coupons, big discounts, and open overnight schedules.
On Black Friday this year, Best Buy stores are planning a wave of doorbuster deals on 5 p.m. And the next day, as early as 8 a.m. Best Buy are following the same sales plan they have adopted last year.
JSPenney is opening doors at 3 p.m. and is handing coupons of values from as low as $10 to as high as $500. Yes, you read that right! And the store will stay open all night on Black Friday, just as Gander Mountain, Kohl’s, Old Navy,Toys ”R” Us, Herberger’s, Shopko, Target and Walmart. Greg Penland, the general manager of the JCPenney store in Rapid City, says they are ready for the shopping spree.
Macy’s is opening the doors to the crown at 5 p.m. So is kids retail store Toys “R” Us.
Of the stores that will be closed on Thanksgiving, we count Barnes & Noble, Staples, Office Depot, Marshalls, HH Gregg, Petco, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Dillard’s, Petsmart, Westfield Southgate, Ashley Furniture, Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft, Scheels, Cabela’s, Lowe’s Home Improvement Center, Menard’s, Pier 1 Imports, Sam’s Club, True Value, Harbor Freight Tools, and Bed Bath & Beyond. These chains are allowing their employees to enjoy the holiday at home, with their familiers or friends.
