Noah Cyrus, the younger sister of the more popular Miley Cyrus, released new first single on Tuesday. You can check it out below.
16-year-old Noah Cyrus has entered the music business, officially. The little sister of pop singer Miley Cyrus released her first single, called Make Me (Cry). The song, debuted on Tuesday, features musician Labrinth.
The singer posted a photo on Instagram, captioning it: “So happy to finally share this. my new song #MakeMeCry feat. @labrinth is out now!!!”
This is not Noah’s first time singing, though. The teen has sung Ponyo’s theme song with Frankie Jonas back in 2009. Since then, she has spent a lot of time in the studio, developing her singing skills.
Earlier this year, Noah opened-up about her preparation for the music career that she envisions for herself. “My dad always had me sing alongside him while he played guitar. He taught me how to harmonize to an old song of his, ‘Missing You’”, she told Paper. The singer says that her earliest memories about learning to sing and play music are connected to her father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.
Now, she is spending a lot of time in the studio, composing. Writing songs is, to her, “the best way to get your mind clear”. She adds that it is also a “great way to explain your past or what you hope for the future”.
Make Me (Cry) by Noah Cyrus featuring Lanrinth has been uploaded on Youtube yesterday and it has already counted over 112,000 views and almost 6,500 likes. Check it out:
