Former NBA star Charles Barkley recently said on The Dan Patrick Show, that given the right circumstances, he would kill columnist Skip Bayless live.
Charles Barkley was recently invited on The Dan Patrick Show, where he brought up again his antipathy for sports columnist Skip Bayless. It is a known fact that the former. NBA player can’t stand Bayless.
Almost four years ago, Barkley said on TNT’s NBA TV show: “Let me tell you something, if I could get Skip Bayless in a room, you’d need DNA to find out who he was.”
Barkley’s beef with Bayless is still ongoing.
On Thursday, at the end of The Dan Patrick Show, the 54-year-old had an idea for high ratings: to kill Skip Bayless live. He said that if he were to be diagnosed with a terminal illness, he would have no trouble killing Bayless on national television.
“If I get a disease and I’m gonna die, how about you get Skip Bayless in here, and I’ll kill him live on national television”, he said to Patrick.
Dan Patrick did not object, on the contrary, he liked the idea. “Like pay-per-view”, he suggested.
“Only when I know I’ma die. … Because I just want to get Skip Bayless in a room one time and just beat him like a dog.”
Skip Bayless, 65, has been Charles Barkley’s nemesis for years. Back in 2011 Barkley sat down with Patrick and told him even then that he hated Bayless more than he hated anyone else in the world and called him “an as*****.”
The first time Barkley revealed his rage against Bayless was in 2005, when he revealed there were two people he would love to kill” one of them was Skip Bayless. The other one was Jay Marriotti. “One thing I learned about the press, it’s a really powerful tool. And your shtick can’t be, you get on TV and be evil everyday. Because people believe what you say”, he said at the time, adding: “And Skip Bayless is evil every single day, and Jay Mariotti is evil every single day.”
