At the beginning of March, sources talking to People were saying that Hollywood couple Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck is back. “She really wants to work things out with Ben”, the sources said.
Almost two years ago, the two first announced their separation, even though they continued to live under the same roof and co-parent their three children: 11-year-old Violet, 8-year-old Seraphina and 5-year-old Samuel.
About co-parenting after separation, 44-year-old Affleck says: “We do our best”, in an interview for Entertainment Tonight. He then says he is the worst and helping the kids with homework and jokingly calls his expertise in handling children “spotty at best.”
Meanwhile, Garner, 44, seems to be the glue that keeps them all together and an enforcer of the family values. She takes the kids on the set where their dad films so that they get to spend time together and says that the parent-child relationship “has to be like that. You don’t have a choice.”
Recent reports say that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are moving on with the divorce. She has filed for divorce and he has filed his response the same day. They are also seeking joint legal and physical custody of the kids.
As the split is “super amicable”, as described by people close to the situation, it is very likely they will not end-up in court. And since they have no prenup, all they assets will be divided equally, unless they have other agreements in place.
