Here are some quick remedies and prevention methods:
Limit the alcohol intake, especially if you are a red wine drinker. Try and bring the intake to half.
Avoid caffeine as much as you can. If you are a coffee fan of a chocolate adorer, it will be hard cutting them off your daily diet habits, but reducing the quantity ingested is always a good step in preventing those terrible headaches.
Take your proteins in the morning. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, no matter what century you’re living in. If you can’t eat much, then at least make sure to eat what you have to. Choose from boiled eggs, smoked salmon, cottage cheese, plain yogurt, or a small bowl of cereals and milk.
Treasure the omega-3 fatty acids. Because they are gold for your body. The sources most rich in omega-3 fatty acids are: fish, eggs, turkey, Pecan nuts, hazelnuts, regular milk and regular bread. Also try some krill oil supplements.
Lemon juice is ideal for preventing headaches. Squeeze one half lemon in 200 ml of plain water. You can add a tablespoon of honey if you can’t drink it otherwise. Make sure to prepare your precious liquor every day.
If your headache has already started, try an old oriental remedy: make a paste from cinnamon powder and water, then apply it on the aching areas, such as on the forehead, around the eyes (but make sure not to drop it in your eyes), cheek bones, or more.
If homemade remedies don’t work, it may be wise to make an appointment with your physician.
