“Two and a Half Men” star Ashton Kutcher has gained some meaningful experience in playing rich techies. After a full season of the sitcom airing on CBS, the actor is now heading to playing an IT genius on the big screen. He has been cast in the main role in “Jobs”, a movie on the Apple founder’s life. The action follows Jobs from his college years, to the time he got Apple to the empire that it is today.
“Jobs” is written by Matt Whitley and will be directed by Joshua Michael Stern. Filming starts in May, while Kutcher is on a break from shooting the “Men” sitcom.
This is not the first time that Steve Jobs is portrayed in a film. Back in 1999, he was played by Anthony Michael Hall in “Pirates of Silicon Valley”.
