Since Tuesday morning, Justin Bieber is officially the new face of Adidas. The German sportswear company has signed a contract with the “Boyfriend” singer, naming him a “Global Style Icon”.
Worried, like Sharon Osbourne”, that Justin Bieber’s star will fade away in the near future? Don’t be, because the “Boyfriend” singer is also an inspired businessman and recently has become a Global Style Icon. So even if one day, he won’t be able to keep up with the music trends anymore, he will still have his billions flowing from the beauty and fashion industry.
Justin Bieber and Adidas have signed a deal for the NEO label of the company, making the pop icon also a sportswear icon. Bieber will appear in the NEO ad campaigns and, to his fans ‘delight, he will make a list of his favorite Adidas items, thus inspiring wardrobe combinations that will surely look star-like.
This is Bieber’s first deal in the clothing business. Previously, he launched several fragrances and a line of nail polish, showing that he really thinks about his female fans. But according to Sharon Osbourne’s gut, the girls that once danced crazy to “Never Say Never” will lose interest in their childhood crush pretty soon, as he is not able to keep up with them. Justin Bieber “is a really great little guy, but that’s his problem. He’s a little guy. His fans are growing up — they’re 18, 19-year-olds now. …They’re young women — and he still looks like that little boy”, the wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne said during the National Radio Conference in Sydney. “I just don’t think, from my gut — and maybe my gut’s wrong cause it’s not 100% — but I don’t think he’s going to stand the test of time”, she added.
But Biebs isn’t worried. In fact, he answered to Sharon Osbourne on Twitter, saying that he likes that she [and people in general] doubt him, and adding: “Not worried Sharon”. Later, the singer posted a link to his latest video, “Beauty and a Beat”.
