Miley Cyrus to star in “Bonnie and Clyde” seriesRumor has it that Miley Cyrus is to star in an upcoming “Bonnie and Clyde” TV series, MTV reports. The “Hanna Montana” actress has yet to confirm her role in the Lifetime miniseries.

Citing The Hollywood Reporter, MTV announces that Miley Cyrus is currently in talks with the AETN directors regarding a role in a miniseries that the network is preparing. The former Disney star will probably play Bonnie Parker in the project that will be the first to run on both Lifetime and History networks.

“Bonnie and Clyde” will be produced by “Smash” EPs Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

No word yet on who will be Clyde Barrow.

Miley Cyrus is currently involved in several television series projects. On October 17, she will appear in one episode of “Two And A Half Men”, as Walden’s fling. Her character, named Missi, will make Walden (Ashton Kutcher) feel a little strange at first, but things heat up between them eventually. Moreover, Missi is rumored to have a fling with Jake, too. That is, when he comes back from the Army.
