Actress Stacey Dash received a huge number of racial comments after posting on Twitter that she was supporting Republican Mitt Romney. The messages ranged from “you poor beautiful idiot”, to “kill yourself, you old hag!”

Stacey Dash gets racial comments for supporting Mitt RomneyIn the past couple of days, Twitter lashed out at “Clueless” star Stacey Dash, for what many seem to think it was an inappropriate political choice.

On Sunday, the 46-year-old actress uploaded a photo of herself wearing a red Baywatch swimming suit and wrote: “Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future. @mittromney @teamromney #mittromney #VOTE #voteromney.”

It didn’t take long for the reply storm to start. The actress got slammed online by numerous Obama fans, who, in the best scenarios, let her know her pro-Caucasian choices are not tolerated. “We’ve been letting you slide for years! It’s OVER”, one person tweeted. The messages flooding her page included angry comments such as “You think you’re white”, “stupidity at its finest”, “kill yourself, you old hag” and more. Most of them were racist. “B**** we know the only reason you tweeted that Romney s**t was so you can taste what it feels like to be relevant”, said another Twitter user. “You’re voting against yourself thrice. You poor beautiful idiot”, another one called her, adding that the actress is just “an unemployed black woman” endorsing Romney.

While she has been attacked from countless parts for her “humble” political views, Dash has received thanks for her support from Romney’s VP running mate Paul Ryan. On October 9, he tweeted about a “great conversation” that he had with the former “Single Ladies” actress.

From her own point of view, Dash doesn’t think everyone has to agree and declared herself shocked and saddened by the online feedback that she received just for making her political opinion public.
