Romeo Beckham became a model. According to The Hollywood Reporter, David and Victoria Beckham’s 10-year-old son launched his modeling career as the face of Burberry’s spring/summer 2013 ad campaign.

Romeo Beckham became a modelThe company released two sneak peeks of the young model captured during the shooting. The first photo shows Romeo wearing a mini trench over a suit and tie and holding one of the signature Burberry umbrellas while striking a “Dancing in the Rain” pose. The second picture was uploaded on the company’s Facebook page and has a behind-the-scene hint to it, revealing a happy, widely smiling little model.

Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s chief creative officer, commented on both the campaign and the experience of working with Romeo. Beckham’s son “was a joy to work with and really stole the show,” he said. Next year’s advertisement campaign was designed to capture the youthful energy of the models used. “We had such fun shooting the campaign and I think that comes through in the images, which really reflect the upbeat spirit of the collection,” Bailey added.

The campaign, shot by famous fashion photographer Mario Testino, featured the emblematic Burberry trenchcoats and outwear alongside a mixture of Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London and Burberry Brit clothing items.

The Beckham family started promoting their son’s new endorsement ahead of time as David and his sons all wore Burberry suits at last week’s premiere of “Viva Forever!”.

Romeo is David and Victoria’s second son. He has two brothers: Brooklyn,13, and Cruz, 7, and a baby girl sister, Harper, 5-month-old.
