Bobby Brown, sentenced to 55 days in jailOn Tuesday, Bobby Brown has been sentenced to 55 days in jail and four years probation for DUI. The singer was arrested last fall.

It’s jail time for Bobby Brown! The ex-husband of the late pop diva Whitney Houston is in trouble with the law again after being arrested last year in October for DUI. The cops pulled him over after the singer was seen driving erratically. When he stopped the car, and the officers got a closer look at him, they noticed he smelled like alcohol. And this – only two months after entering rehab for alcohol addiction.

Brown got his license suspended and was charged with DUI. And this wouldn’t be his first time. Back in March 2012, he was charged with DUI after being pulled over for using his cell phone while driving. And before that, in 2004, he was arrested in Georgia for violating a previous DUI conviction.

44-year-old Brown will have to turn himself in by March 20 and will spend 55 days in a Los Angeles Jail. In addition to that, he got four years probation, and an obligation to attend an 18-month alcohol program, plus Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
