Taylor Swift reveals to Elle magazine: “I never chase boys. They don’t like it.” The singer replied to the general idea that she is thought to be coming on too strong when it comes to romantic relationships.
In a recent interview to Elle magazine, country singer Taylor Swift opens up about the way she deals with break-ups and addresses the general idea that she chases her boyfriends.
“I’m sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumor it would say I’m chasing somebody who doesn’t like me as much as I like him – people love that angle on me”, the singer says. “They’re like “Oh Taylor, coming on too strong again, chasing boys. I never chase boys. They don’t like it!”
As for her habit of writing songs about her exes, Swift says it is her way of dealing with the pain caused by the break-up, a way that helps her understand and cope better what she is going through. “If people want to dissect the lyrics, that’s their right, but it’s all coming from the exact same place as where I started. It’s just something I do to feel better.”
Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriends list includes Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Conor Kennedy and. And according to her, they have never seen her yell or throw stuff in anger. “I’m not a yeller. I’m not a fit thrower. If something is done, it’s done.”
