Cory Monteith, found dead in Vancouver hotelOn Saturday, “Glee” star Cory Montieth was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver. The cause of death is not yet clear. An autopsy will be conducted on Monday. Monteith was 31 years old.

Cory Monteith’s body was found by the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel staff after he missed the checkout time. When the police arrived at the place, they examined the circumstances of death and the cause was not immediately visible. An autopsy will be conducted starting Monday.

One day before, the 31-year-old actor had several people invited to his hotel room, but, according to acting Chief Constable Doug LePard, he has been caught on video surveillance cameras returning to his room, early in the morning, unaccompanied.

Monteith checked into the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel on July 6.

In late April, the actor checked himself out of the treatment facility he had spent a month in for rehab. The news left people talking. Monteith had been in rehab before and it hadn’t made a difference to him. As he admitted back in 2011, he knew how to “fool” the system: “I did the stint but then went back to doing exactly what I left off doing.”

In March, when he admitted himself, willingly, into rehab again, his girlfriend and “Glee” co-star Lea Michele said she was very proud and supportive of him. “I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this. I am grateful and proud he made this decision”.

Michele is devastated by Monteith’s sudden death.
