Nick and Vanessa Lachey celebrated son’s 1st bdayOn Thursday, Nick and Vanessa Lachey celebrated their son’s 1st birthday. Little Camden was born on September 12, 2012, but his birthday party lasted two days, beginning with a cupcake celebration initiated by Drew Lachey and his wife, one day before his actual birthday.

On September 11, Camden Lachey, the son of 98 Degrees singer and his wife, “Dads” star Vanessa Lachey (ex Minnillo), received an assortment of cupcakes from Drew Lachey and his wife. This was what marked the first birthday celebration of the cutie, even though his real birthday is on September 12. His mother  tweeted a photo of the adorable sweet blue and white frosting cupcakes and wrote: “”In Cincy for Cam’s 1st Bday tomorrow”, adding “”Talk about a #WelcomeHome! Thanks! Uncle @DrewLachey Aunt @LeaLachey1.”

On his actual birthday both parents posted tweets. Nick wrote: “Celebrating one year in the life of the most amazing little boy @VanessaLachey and I could have ever imagined!! Happy 1st birthday Camden!!”

During her pregnancy, Vanessa Lachey gained over 65 pounds, a number that she has managed to minimize in quite a short time. Her secret, she reveals, was going on tour with her husband. “It’s 12 dudes from the New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees tour. They’re eating grilled chicken, protein shakes, salads—I’m like, ‘When are we going to pull over at Crackel Barrel?’ Never happened”, she told E!News on the weekend of September 7-8 , at Fox’s Fall Eco-Casino Party. After two months of eating healthy and staying active, she realized losing that post-baby weight isn’t that hard. Her advice to other moms struggling with the weight problem is to be more permissive with themselves. “You just had a human being, and you’re beautiful, and when it happens, it happens, and you get back in those jeans and it’s awesome!”
