Keeping Up With the Kardashians 2016

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” reality series has been halted indefinitely, following the armed robbery that left the main start of the show “shaken and traumatized.”

The production team at E!  announced that the reality series “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” will be put on hold for as long as requested by the situation. “Kim’s well-being is our core focus right now”, a representative for the network said.

The show sums up 12 seasons and 176 episodes so far. The first episode was aired on October 14, 2007. Since then, it has won awards at Teen Choice Awards almost every year, including in 2016 (Choice TV: Reality Show). Though higly criticized, the show was never halted. Until now.

Many aspects in Kim Kardashian’s life are changing after the traumatizing experience in Paris. Five days after she was attacked and robbed at an exclusive building apartment in Paris, where she and part of her family were attending the Paris Fashion Week, Kim has already moved from her New York City penthouse, too.

“She needs a break from everything”, a source from her entourage tells ET, adding that Kim will not be coming back on social media too soon. She has also cancelled a business trip to Dubai and several other meetings. She is traumatized by the flashbacks of what had happened in Paris. “I don’t think the flashbacks will go away anytime soon though. It’s going to take a while for those to stop” the source added.

As in any post-traumatic state, Kim is, sources say, very  emtional when she thinks about the incident. She has remorse about flaunting her $4.6 million engagement ring, which was at the center of the gunpoint armed robbery, on the social media. But, even thought she doesn’t blame social media for the incident, she admits that parading her expensive possession on the social media platforms has played a role.
