Kim Kardashian says the night robbery in Paris happened like this, in her police report, filed hours after the event:
The press does not have her exact words, but a translation from French to English of what the reality star wrote (in her own words, in English originally). The French version was presented in the French publication Le Journal du Dimanche.
Here is how 36-year-ld Kardashian reported the robbery took place:
In the evening of October 2, Kim, who had returned at the No Address Hotel, after spending the evening in the company of her sister Kourtney and stylist Simone Harouche, decided not to join crowd for a night out. Kourtney and her assistant, Stephanie Sheppard stayed downstairs, getting ready for a party night, while Kim went upstairs to work on her computer.
It was almost 3 a.m. when she heard noises at the door, “like footsteps” and shouted “who’sthere?”. Nobody answered. She called her bodyguard at 2:56. “Through the door, I saw two people arrive, plus the night man who was tied up.”
She continued by saying the men had police paraphernalia and the one that stayed with her was also wearing ski goggles. They asked for her ring. “It was on the bedside table”, wrote Kardashian referring to the engagement ring which she stated was worth 4 million dollars. “I told him that I didn’t know, he took out a gun and I showed him the ring.”
Afterwards, they grabbed her and took her into the hallway. “I was wearing a bathrobe, naked underneath. Then we went in the room again and they pushed me on the bed. And, it was this time, they tied me up with plastic cables and taped my hands, then they put tape over my mouth and my legs.”
Kardashian mentioned she believed the robbers were “a bit inexperienced because of the way they tied me up” and put in the report all they had taken from her, including two diamond Cartier bracelets, a gold and diamond Jacob necklace, Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings and a gold Rolex and estimating everything, except the engagement ring, at about $5 million.
Last week 17 people were arrested in connection to the robbery. On Friday, French police has narrowed it down to 10 people, with ages ranging from 44 to 72. Reports say the main suspect is not a man called Omar A., whose DNA was found on the tape Kardashian was tied with.
