Mariah Carey attended a wedding in London with her new beau, Bryan Tanaka. The two are dating for a little over six weeks.
On Sunday, Mariah Carey took her sexy self to a wedding in London, in the company of her new boyfriend, dancer Bryan Tanaka. At the time they left the hotel, the singer was seen wearing a white coat. Later on, she was photographed wearing a black low-cut dress accessorized with a black belt, fishnet stockings and high heels. Tanaka was wearing an all-black ensemble and a golden chain around the neck.
The first time that 46-year-old Carey was spotted with 33-year-old Tanaka in what clearly appeared to be “more than friends” circumstances was after Thanksgiving, in Hawaii. The pop diva had a family Thanksgiving dinner with ex-husband Nick Cannon and their twins, Monroe and Moroccan. Then, she was spotted smooching on the beach with Tanaka.
The 33-year-old is not only her backup dancer, but is also a DJ. He is currently working for Carey as her creative director and is featured in her reality series Mariah’s World, airing on Sunday, on E!
In yesterday’s episode, Tanaka was there for Mariah’s final dress fitting, for the wedding that never took place, with ex-fiancé, James Packer. It is alleged that one of the reasons the engagement did not turn into a marriage was the 33-year-old dancer, who was too flirty with Carey at that time.
A source speaking to ET denies that Mariah and Bryan had a thing when she and James called it quits, but confirms that they are an item now. “She’s really into Bryan. He’s with her 24/7”, the source says, describing Tanaka as “a nice guy”.
Mariah Carey and James Packer broke-up in late October. The reason, reported at the time, was the casino billionaire’s increasing concerns about his future wife’s reality show, that might be too intrusive in their personal life. The break-up was hard for Mariah, who wasn’t feeling up for confessions not even a month later, not even to Ellen DeGeneres. “It’s kind of difficult to talk about it at this moment”, she said to DeGeneres on November 23, “so I’m just going to compliment you on these decorations once again.”
