The photo has reached over 8 million likes so far. The singer’s mother, Tina Knowles, shared the photo, happy that she doesn’t have to keep the secret anymore and adding: “I am soooo happy. God is so good. twin blessings.”

Beyoncé and Jay-Z, 47, share daughter Blue Ivy, who was born on January 7, 2012. The singer revealed she was pregnant with her daughter at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, after she performed “Love on Top”. Her surprise announcement attracted a huge audience for that year’s edition of the event, turning it into the most watched MTV Video Music Awards ever!

Prior to that, Beyoncé had suffered a miscarriage, a fact that she revealed in her 2013 documentary, Life is But a Dream, which aired on BBC One. The 35-year-old – she was 31 at the time of the filming – talked candidly about what she called “the saddest thing I’ve ever been through”.

When addressing the rumors that she was faking her pregnancy, she said that speculation of that sort, especially after enduring pain and trauma following the miscarriage, seemed to her “mean so much more”.  She called the rumors “the most ridiculous” she had ever heard.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z tied the knot in a very private setting, in April 2008. They have kept their relationship out of the spotlight before the wedding, as well as after.
