Actor Josh Hartnett will soon be a dad again as his girlfriend, actress Tamsin Egerton is pregnant. The 28-year-old blonde showed a baby bump at the Oscars, on Sunday night.

Egerton is best known for her roles in Keeping Mum (2005), St. Trinian’s (2007) and for playing Guinevere in the TV series Camelot, which aired in 2011.

Josh Hartnett, 38, started dating Tamsin Egerton sometime in 2012. The couple was very private about the relationship, until confirming it, in late 2013. And by the end of 2015, their representative shared with the media that they had become first-time parents. Egerton and Hartnett welcomed their first baby, a daughter.

In April 2016, Hartnett was telling Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, during an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Michael, that his life had changed radically since he has become a father. “She’s the apple of my eye, she’s perfect in every way”, said the proud dad, before admitting that there is a downside to all of this: he doesn’t get any sleep anymore.

Of fatherhood, the actor was saying at the time that is was “really terrifying”, but, at the same time, “beautiful”. “I love it more than anything — I wish I would’ve started earlier”, he added.

It is never too late to start, just as it is never too late to continue. Mel Gibson, who recently welcomed his 9th child, would approve.

On Sunday, at the Academy Awards, Hartnett and Egerton indirectly shared the baby news. They are expecting. Their daughter will soon have a little brother or a little sister.

Egerton was wearing a long-sleeved black dress, matched with gold high-heeled shoes. “This is not feeding the baby nourishment”, she joked.

And while she is taking the time off from the screen, Hartnett is caught up in several projects for this year. Among them, the indie drama The Long Home, also starring Ashton Kutcher, Josh Hutcherson and Courtney Love, World War drama The Ottoman Lieutenant, set to premiere on March 10, and American-Japanese film Oh Lucy!
