ANTM contestant Brandy Rusher’s shooters have been arrested on Thursday, March 30, over the killings at the Haverstock Hill Apartments on Aldine Bender, on Sunday. They were denied bond. But later in the day, one walks away, as the charges against him are dropped.

28-year-old Jeremy Jones and his brother, 34-year-old Harvey Jones, fled the scene of the crime at Haverstock Hill Apartments, where they shot at 6 people, injuring four and killing two. Among the injured, there is also America’s next Top Model finalist, Brandy Rusher.

Houston police issued an arrest warrant for them as soon as they were identified as the shooters. They were caught one day later, on Thursday, March 30 according to ABC13. Jeremy Jones was taken into police custody at 3:08 a.m. and Harvey Jones was taken at 3:47 a.m.

As reported before, Harvey is facing charges for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Jeremy will go to trial for capital murder. He was the one causing the two death and injuring the other victims. Harvey did hold a gun and aimed, but there is no evidence that he actually pulled the trigger.

Hours after being arrested, the brothers appeared in front of a judge. They were denied bond.

According to KHOU, the Harris County district attorney’s office has dropped charges against Jeremy because it appears they had the wrong guy.  Investigators are still collecting evidence and talking to witnesses. The real shooter is not in custody.
