The Last Ship star Eric Dane is suffering from depression. His representative shared the news, adding that the actor will be taking a break from acting.
44-year-old Eric Dane needs a break. The actor’s representative has told US Weekly: “Eric asked for a break to deal with personal issues”, sharing that he was battling depression and “has asked for a few weeks of downtime and the producers kindly granted that request. He looks forward to returning.”
Dane is both actor and producer of the post-apocalyptic action series, now to its third season. Production is currently halted.
The Last Ship premiered on June 22, 2014. Its action revolves around a US Navy Ship that shelters a crew of 218 people, all survivors of a pandemic resulted from a deadly virus. Their goal is to find a cure and stay alive.
