Ciara is getting her stretchmarks removed after her second pregnancy. The singer shared the info with her Instagram followers, in an update to her weight loss plan.

Since the birth of her second baby, singer and actress Ciara has had one thing in mind: to shed those extra pounds. Not only that, but even before the birth, she had made it a goal to not gain more than 60 pounds. The plan worked, as she informed her Instagram followers in early June, just four weeks after the birth of daughter Sienna Princess Wilson.

The mother-of-two posted a photo of the scale showing 178.6 lbs , 20 lbs less than before giving birth. “This Weeks Goal is 10lbs. I was 183 yesterday. #BounceBack #LevelUp”, she wrote at the time.

I said I wasn't going to gain 60lbs Carrying Sienna, and… I did exactly that!! 😌… 4 weeks after her birth I lost 20 lbs. This Weeks Goal is 10lbs. I was 183 yesterday. #BounceBack #LevelUp

One week later, she kept the fans posted: she had lost not 10, but 8 lbs. pretty close. “Next weeks goal, 3-4lbs! (Bout kilt myself this week! 😂) Let’s go!”, she added.

On Wednesday, June 21, she posted a picture of the scale again, this time showing 175.6, which indicates a slight weight gain. The reason for it was a bit shocking. She did not workout the past days because: “Started my stretch mark removal process this week, and the Doc told me I couldn’t work out…so I ate healthy & added a few 🍪 in the mix!”

31-year-old Ciara married American footballer Russell Wilson July 6, 2016, in Cheshire, England, after dating for over a year.

Prior to her marriage to Wilson, the singer almost married rapper Future. The two were engaged from October 2013 to August 2014. They have a son together, Future Zahir Wilburn, who is 3-year-old.  The two weren’t so good at co-parenting: Future called Ciara a bad mother, a b*tch with “control problems” and said on Twitter: “I gotta go through lawyers to see baby future … the f***ery for 15k a month”. That was happening last year. Following that rant on social media, Ciara reacted by filing a lawsuit against him for defamation, asking for $15 million, a sum that a judge later thought it was unfounded.
