In a recent interview for NewBeauty magazine, actress Courtney Cox opens up about giving up fillers, getting used to her “smile lines” and going all natural. Moreover, she reveals she would love to have a baby with her current partner, Johnny McDaid.

Hollywood is unforgiving with wrinkles, natural beauty and generally, aging. It is an experience that Courtney Cox has lived and despite it, she made the hard decision of giving up her aesthetic procedures which, after a certain point, made her look unnatural and strange.

In the cover story for NewBeauty, the 53-year-old Cougar Town star explains how she got to the point of overdoing it. “I grew up thinking that appearance was the most important thing”, she begins saying. “That’s kind of sad because it got me in trouble. I was trying so hard to keep up”, Cox continued. Keeping up meant visiting the doctor regularly for some teeny tiny injections here and there. “The next thing you know, you’re layered and layered and layered”, she said adding: “It’s worse in pictures than in real life.”

Since she made the decision of giving all those beauty adjustments up, Courtney Cox looks a lot more natural. Now, that the fillers have completely dissolved, she faces another challenge: getting used to wrinkles. “I’ve had to learn to embrace movement and realize that fillers are not my friend”, she said, after sharing the new name she found for wrinkles: “smile lines.”

You would think that Courtney would become insecure of her relationship with much-younger boyfriend Johnny McDaid. “External beauty isn’t even on his radar. I used to worry about the age difference, but I don’t think it matters” the actress reveals. “He appreciates beauty, but it’s deeper than that.”

And speaking about her partner, Courtney, who is a mother to 13-year-old daughter Coco, reveals that she would love to have a baby with McDaid. “I would love to have a baby now”, the actress says, explaining that she would carry someone else’s egg and, even if she were one of the older people to do that, she “would love to, with Johnny that is”.
