Gagnam Style is no longer the most-watched YouTube video. The video streamer shows that the record is now held by a song from the Furious 7 soundtrack.

On July 10, Gagnam Style by Psy, the hit that is now 5-years-old, was surpassed, for the first time in half a decade. The new No.1 in the most watched videos on YouTube chart is Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again featuring Charlie Puth.

That day, Gagnam Style was recording 2,894,022,885 views.

Meanwhile, See You Again was recording 2,894,026,649 views.

Before Gagnam Style, the most popular YouTube music video was Justin Bieber’s Baby.

Wiz Khalifa’s single was released in 2015. Since then, it has had about 3 million views every day.

Translated into YouTube earnings, that would mean roughly $28 million for See You Again. YouTube splits the earnings in half with the record company and, usually, the record label splits 50/50 with the artist.

In a recent statement, Wiz Khalifa thanked his YouTube fans for their support. “I’m super excited and grateful to everyone who supported the song and video on YouTube, and happy to inspire and impact so many lives”.

Charlie Puth added that his highest hopes, in 2007, were on getting more than 10,000 views on YouTube for a video. “Now, a decade later, it feels incredible to be a part of the most-viewed video on YouTube.”

Wiz Khalifa, 29, debuted in 2009, with the album Show and Prove. His debut single, Black and Yellow, released in September 2010, landed on No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100. See You Again, which is included on the soundtrack of Furious 7, topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks in a row.

Charlie Puth, 25, wrote See You Again, as a tribute to Furious 7 star Paul Walker, who died in a car crash in November 2013, at age 40.
