Simon Cowell and Cheryl Tweedy, known as Cheryl Cole until recently haven’t spoken in 6 months, says the X Factor producer, putting all recent speculation to rest.
Simon Cowell denies the latest rumors, according to which he negotiated Cheryl Tweedy’s return to X Factor for the sum of 500,000 pounds. Moreover, the television producer and businessman says that hasn’t spoken to Tweedy since before she gave birth to her baby, in March.
Rumors started with the Daily Star, that reported Simon wanted to convince both Cheryl and her partner, Liam Payne, to make an appearance on the reality talent competition later this year. Cowell called those rumors “bulls**t” and added: “I haven’t spoken to her in six months.”
34-year-old Cheryl Cole changed her name back to Cheryl Tweedy in May of this year. Tweedy was her maiden name. Cole was the last name of her first husband, soccer player Ashley Cole.
Cheryl is a first-time mom to baby boy Bear, born in March. “Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream”, the former Girls Aloud member announced via Instagram. 23-year-old Liam Payne, the former One Direction member, is also a first-time dad.
The couple revealed they were expecting when they showed-up holding hands to a Christmas concert in London, last year. Cheryl revealed a very obvious baby bump.
Cheryl first appeared on X Factor in 2008, training Alexandra Burke, who actually won the season.
Her last appearance was as a judge, in 2015.
