Sims 4 Cats and Dogs is coming in November. Here is what you need to know about the content and the price.

On November 10, EA Games promises one of the biggest expansions ever on Sims 4.

Sims 4 Cats and Dogs may put off some fans, who were expecting a larger variety of pets in their favorite game, such as rodents, birds, similar to older Sims games. However, this expansion pack is a start – who knows, maybe the IT giant will release a stuff pack, expanding the pet selection soon after – you’ve seen the complexity of the upcoming Sims 4 Toddler Stuff.

Sims 4 Cats and Dogs will be priced at $39.99, pretty much the regular price of expansion packs in Sims 4.

Here is what this much-awaited pack will add to the gameplay:

Create A Pet tool – this tool, similar to Create A Sim, will allow players to design pets from scratch, picking the breed, the fur color and particularities, eye color, personality and even dress-up and accessorize the four-legged friends.

Pet autonomy – according to EA, pets “have minds of their own and form special relationships with Sims based on their daily interactions”, such as teaching them tricks, playing and caring for them.

New City – Brindleton Bay will be the name of the new city coming with this expansion. This place will charm players with its harbour docks, play parks and a lighthouse.

Stray cats and dogs – Sims have the possibility of buying pets, adopt them, or just…get them from the street.  After forming a bond with them, that is.

Veterinary clinic – Sims will have the possibility of opening a veterinary clinic and work there as vets. They will also be able to hire staff. Vets will diagnose pets and treat them. They will even perform surgeries.
