Jean-Claude Van Damme’s youngest son was arrested on Sunday, in Tempe Arizona, for holding another man at knifepoint and for drug possession. The news was first reported by TMZ.

The youngest son of actor Jean-Claude Van Damme, Nicholas Van Varenberg, got arrested on Sunday, after the police was called at his place. The caller claimed he had punched the elevator door in the apartment building.

When the officers arrived at the location, they have found traces of blood that were leading to Van Varenberg’s apartment. It turned out the blood came from Nicholas’ hand, which he injured, probably in a tense moment.

The police left the apartment, but several minutes later, Van Varenberg’s roommate ran out and caught the officers downstairs, claiming he had actually escaped. He told the officers that Nicholas was angry at him because he let the police in and held him at knifepoint.

The cops went back to the place and did find an incriminating knife. And marijuana.

Nicholas Van Varenberg was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, drug possession and unlawful imprisonment.

21-year-old Nicholas Van Varenberg is the youngest son of 55-year-old Jean-Claude’s Van Damme’s and the only child he has with model Darcy Lynn LaPier.

The martial arts movie star, whose real name is Jean-Claude Camille François Van Varenberg, has two more children – 30-year-old son Kristopher Van Varenberg and 26-year-old Bianca Bree – with his current wife, Gladys Portugues, 59.
