Johnnie Walker producer, Diageo, is about to create the brand’s female counterpart, Jane Walker. The company filed for the trademark recently.
If you are one of those people who enjoy a glass of Johnnie Walker whiskey blend, you may be intrigued by this new alcoholic concoction that Diageo, the company that owns Johnnie Walker, is preparing for the near future.
According to TMZ, the company filed paperwork for the trademark Jane Walker earlier this month. Not much is known about Jane, except for the fact that it is going to be alcohol. And not beer.
Diageo had the plan to launch Jane Walker since 2016. During the election campaign, it was rumored that an ad campaign for Jane Walker was in the process of developing. However, after the election and implicitly the loss suffered by Democratic Rep. Hillary Clinton, all those plans have been forgotten.
Or at least, we thought so…
No further information on Jane Walker at this time, but we’ll keep you posted!
