Since her fiance popped the question and presented her with a 2-million-dollar bling, Paris Hilton has 24/7 security guarding her engagement ring.
Last week, Paris Hilton became engaged. Her fiance, Chris Zylka asked her to marry him on New Year’s Eve, in Aspen. TMZ aired the video of the proposal, which you can see here.
Paris’s rock is over 20 karats and it reportedly took four months to cut into a pear shape. Zylka paid about $2 million for it, which puts the jewel into the same rice range as Kim Kardashian’s stolen ring during the Paris robbery from the fall of 2016.
And in order to prevent a similar outcome for herself and her beloved sparkler, Hilton has hired 24/7 security. The guards are “undercover”, wearing civilian clothes, so that they won’t be too obvious.
According to TMZ, Paris already has non-stop security at her home.
But burglary prevention aside, the socialite, who will soon turn 37, found the time to compliment another lady on her engagement ring, after she has noticed they both have the same ring model.
“Our future hubby’s obviously both have amazing & similar taste! Congrats @iamcardib”, Hilton tweeted in response to a fan post showing photos of the two rings one next to the other.

Hip hop artist Cardi B, 25, became engaged to rapper Offsett on October 27, when he proposed at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, during the Power 99 Powerhouse concert. And despite the obvious similarity between the two blings, Offsett reportedly paid only a quarter than Zylka did for his.
32-year-old Chris Zylka (real name Christopher Michael Settlemire) is a model/ actor. Previously to meeting Paris, he was engaged to DVF brand ambassador Hanna Beth Merjos. They got engaged in 2014, but broke-up the next year. He first met Paris Hilton about eight years ago, but they only started dating in February 2017. Since then, she has been documenting their romance on social media.
