HBO’s “Girls” themed nail polish line

HBO’s series “Girls” was the source of inspiration for a themed nail polish line. The collection is the result of a collaboration between Lena Dunham, the show’s creator, and Deborah Lippman, famous manicurist and nail polish guru, The Examiner reported. Soon enough, “Girls” fans will have more to look forward to than spending their Sundays sharing the struggles of their favorite twenty-something characters trying to figure out life in NYC. The TV show inspired nail polish line is already available for pre-order on Lippmann’s website but is supposed to start shipping come mid-January. The nail polish collection includes four shades, each of them inspired by one of the show’s main characters. Lena Dunham’s character Hannah was the source of inspiration for the Hapless Hunter Green polish, which is a deep forest green. Allison Williams’ Marnie got a bubbly pink shade, classy and sweet, named Prim And Proper Pink. Shoshanna, played by Zosia Mamet, inspired a light pastel violet called Virtuous Vivid Violet and Jessa’s, Jemima Kirke, spirit was captured by a deep, rich Bohemian Burgundy.
